Inspired by Icelandic folklore, Beauty is a fairytale of our time,
the story of a young boy’s journey through an apocalyptic world.
His visionary prophesies of war are soothed by lullabies,
only to turn to harsh reality as he becomes a soldier.
He finally finds redemption when a baby is saved from the battlefield’s carnage.MOTHER: "...but I hadn't seen it, and then I went to watch it die and it was beautiful."
