“WEEPING WILLOW /yanagi "

“A man standing against the wind, his skin creaks as a tree, the birds of the past
coming up from the throat...and there is no one else to have pity on.”

Alfonso Rivera takes us on a journey to the hearth of a yanagi-tree through
a sensual metamorphosis embodying ghosts from an ancient era in this physical
theatre performance that combines butóh dance and corporal mime techniques
  with a jam music session.
